Official Statement by "South Caucasus Railway" Regarding Media Reports on Power Supply to Consumers on Arshakunyats Avenue

In light of recent mass media reports concerning power supply disruptions to consumers on Arshakunyats Avenue in Yerevan, the "South Caucasus Railway" company considers it necessary to state the following:
South Caucasus Railway (SCR) has no power consumers on Arshakunyats Avenue, where electricity supply issues were recorded this past weekend. The aforementioned consumers fall under the jurisdiction of "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC, with whom the respective electricity supply contracts are concluded.
Consequently, "South Caucasus Railway" holds no such active contracts, as the supply of electricity is not among the services provided by the company.
In this regard, the company urges media representatives to approach the coverage of such topics with care and objectivity, to verify the accuracy of the information being disseminated, and to correctly identify the parties involved in the relevant processes, avoiding inaccuracies in phrasing and reporting.
