Railway Workers Celebrate Professional Holiday

Festive events dedicated to Railway Worker's Day, which is traditionally celebrated on the first Sunday of August, were held at the "South Caucasus Railway" (SCR) company. In honor of the professional holiday, distinguished employees of the company were recognized with departmental and corporate awards for their conscientious work, high professionalism, and contribution to the development of the railway industry.
The SCR team received holiday congratulations from the General Director of JSC "Russian Railways," the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the company's management, and the Union of Trade Union Organizations of SCR.
In his address, SCR General Director Alexey Melnikov noted that the company continues to fulfill its obligations to the Republic of Armenia in full, ensuring the stable and safe operation of the railway infrastructure and the transportation complex. "Behind every completed trip, every transported passenger, and every ton of cargo is the labor of a large team of professionals. Thanks to your responsibility, experience, and dedication to your work, the railway continues to perform its job reliably," emphasized Alexey Melnikov.
He thanked the employees for their professionalism and responsible attitude toward their work, wishing them good health, well-being, new successes, and accident-free operations.
Albina Martirosyan, Chairwoman of the Union of Trade Union Organizations of SCR, congratulated the railway workers on their professional holiday, noting that providing social support for employees remains one of the company's priorities. She spoke about ongoing trade union programs and measures aimed at increasing the social protection of employees and their families.
