Photo exhibition “Pristine Russia” opened at Yerevan railway station

On April 16, a photo exhibition from the exposition of the All-Russian Nature Festival “Pristine Russia” was opened in the building of the Yerevan railway station "Sasuntsi David". «Russian Railways» JSCo organized the exhibition, which presents about two dozen artworks, with the assistance of the company "South Caucasus Railway" CJSC.

The “Pristine Russia” festival is the largest exhibition project in Europe dedicated to nature photography and raising the issues of preserving the natural heritage of the Russian Federation, rare, endangered species of animals and plants, and the development of ecotourism.

The Director General of “SCR” Alexey Melnikov in his welcoming speech to the guests of the exhibition noted: "Russian Railways” JSCo is a long-standing partner of the festival, and we are extremely pleased to host an exhibition in Yerevan today that will interest the citizens of Armenia. Every year, “Pristine Russia” attracts more and more connoisseurs of the beauty of nature, which is evidence of the relevance of the task of preserving biodiversity. And this is especially relevant against the backdrop of the developing technological world." According to A. Melnikov, due to its relevance, the exhibition will continue to operate at other major railway stations in Armenia.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by the Ambassador of Russia to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin, representatives of Russian companies and public organizations in Armenia, as well as representatives of the RA authorities. During the event, musical pieces were performed by students of the Music School named after M. Mirzoyan, a partner of the “South Caucasus Railway” Company.
